Honesty Brutal is the vision of Alex Z. Wang, a New York–based multidisciplinary artist whose work spans oil painting, alcohol ink, and photography. Alex studied fine art at Parsons School of Design, The Cooper Union, and the Art Students League of New York, grounding his practice in both discipline and experimentation.

His paintings and works on paper have been featured in exhibitions across New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and internationally in Paris, from solo presentations to juried group shows and major art fairs. To date, dozens of his works have entered private collections worldwide, establishing him as a rising voice in contemporary abstraction.

Honesty Brutal extends this practice into fashion—transforming original artworks into limited-edition, made-to-order pieces. Each drop is wearable art: bold, expressive, and unapologetically individual. Drawing on more than a decade of experience advising global luxury and fashion brands, Alex brings a rare dual perspective—merging the rigor of fine art with an insider’s understanding of fashion’s cultural power.
